Rules of the Game
Objective
Be the first player to get rid of all your cards. The game is played with a deck of Animal Uno cards featuring different creatures with special abilities.
Setup
Deal 10 cards to each player. Place the remaining cards face down as a draw pile. Turn over the top card to start the discard pile.
Gameplay
On your turn, play a card that matches the color, number, or symbol of the top card on the discard pile. If you can't play, draw a card from the draw pile.
Special Cards
Each animal character has special abilities: Reverse cards change direction, Skip cards skip the next player, Draw 2 cards make the next player draw, and Wild cards can be played on any color.
Winning
When you have only one card left, you must say "fly". If you forget and another player catches you, you must draw 2 cards.
Defense
The Turtle Shell card is a special defensive card that can protect you from reverse, skip, +2, and +4 cards, allowing you to avoid all attacks.
Meet the Characters
Butterflies
These colorful insects can be multicolored, so they're chosen for the color cards.
Hummingbirds
These beautiful birds are known for being the only bird that can fly backward, so they're chosen for the reverse cards.
Grasshoppers
These insects are known for their ability to jump long distances, so they're chosen for the skip cards.
Worms
These crawling animals can turn into two worms if they're cut in half, so they're chosen for the Draw 2 cards.
Chameleons
These amazing reptiles are known for their ability to change colors, so they're chosen for the Wild cards.
Turtle Shell
Turtles have a sturdy shell that protects them, so they're chosen for the Divine Shield cards. This card is a new card. It defends against the reverse, skip, +2 and +4 cards, allowing the user to avoid all attack cards.
